My name is Elaysia Davidson, and I am the young adult, Black, female creator of the Best Version Project. You might know me from TikTok.

Although I share a lot of my life on my TikTok account, @bestversionproject, there's a lot that 40 second videos can't capture.

I am as wildly passionate as I am endlessly relentless. I am a reader, a writer, an occasional poet, an unapologetic activist, a rare philosopher. I am also a social media fanatic, a Gossip Girl binge-watcher, and an endless romantic (I prefer the phrase "endless romantic" over "hopeless romantic", it sounds so much more whimsical, doesn't it?). 

I am determined to live the life I've always dreamed of, and become the person I've always wanted to be. I am a work in progress, and that's a beautiful thing.
